What Will You Do:

We are looking for a passionate and driven Agile Scrum Master/Project Manager to join our fast-growing team in eyos. The ideal candidate will be familiar and comfortable working in a fast-paced agile environment and have strong knowledge and experience working in Kanban and scrum project settings to manage projects. The right candidate should also be excited and comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams that consist of a Scrum Master, Software Engineers, Product Owners, Data Engineers, UX Engineers and Data Scientists who may be located across different time zones. Job responsibilities include the following:

1. Project Management

  • Collaborate with product owners, engineers, operations teams, data analysts team members, and other key stakeholders to define project priorities, requirements, deliverables and dependencies

  • Facilitate scrum events

  • Sync up with product owners on the priority of tasks

  • Manage/remove distractions for the scrum team

  • Balancing operational concerns with project delivery and execution

  • Be familiar with each project’s development and history

  • Be familiar with the relevant changes of each sprint’s releases

2. Documentation and managing other project related materials

  • Including (but not limited to) documentation of scrum-related project matters, scrum practices for the product engineering team

  • Comfortable with the use of project collaboration tools such as (but not limited to) Jira and Confluence

3. Work with the Agile Scrum Master to build scrum culture in our global organisation

  • Collaborate with the Agile Scrum Master to keep track of sprint’s health and team’s health

  • Coach team members as needed, including engineering practices, conflict resolution and scrum practices

  • Address pain points of scrum team member together


What You Will Need To Do/Know:

  • Comfortable managing multiple cross-functional teams that consist of Software engineers, Product owners, Data engineers, UX engineers and Data scientists

  • Active listener with an ability to help team reflect and establish clarity of thoughts

  • Neutral yet assertive when needed

  • Good initiative, independent and willing to learn

  • Adaptable to different teams’ practices

  • Strong people management skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
