Job description

The Operations Manager at EYOS is responsible for actively engaging and closing our local accounts in Thailand and bringing them on the EYOS Connect platform. We actively engage with top companies and top brands across the region and it's imperative that we partner with the local FMCG retail stores in the region. To this end, we are looking for a strong Operations Manager for our team to grow our expanding portfolio of top merchants and other relevant partnerships in the region.

The Operations Manager will be responsible for handling and growing our merchant & retailer network and managing our customer success team for our partners. They will be the lead point of contact for all merchants.

  • Partnerships: Develop and drive eyos’ partnership strategy for merchant acquisition; build and execute on partnerships in Thailand. Create new contacts with local merchants, and recruit them to join EYOS Connect platform.

  • Work cross-functionally with product, engineering, legal, finance, sales and marketing teams to advocate internally for relevant partnerships and align on strategy/terms

  • Collaborate with senior management and other teammates to align our internal goals on new partner relationships

  • Actively identify and effectively engage with local merchants by effectively developing and communicating a clear value proposition to derive with a win-win partnership with them

  • Communicate clearly the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders, including the ability to synthesize feedback and adjust plans accordingly

Requirements


  • Four to Five years’ previous work experience in FMCG store acquisition, business development /sales rolesStrong communication skills, attention to detail, ability to create and follow processes, and a track record of exceeding expectations.

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, sales, or relevant field; Master’s degree preferred.

  • Proven track record as a solid sales performer, achieving, even exceeding, sales targets.

  • Ambitious, self-driven and highly motivated individual who can work well in a startup environment.

  • Must be able to work independently most of the time. Think and work strategically when approaching tasks.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to effectively network with customers

  • Coachable attitude. Should be willing and able to learn

  • Good presentation and speaking skills, in both Thai and English, who can verbally and visually articulate their point of view clearly

  • Should have a deep desire to excel and develop a career in a hyper-growth tech startup.

  • Comfortable with data analysis (MS Office, Google Docs / Sheets / Slides)

  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.

  • Goal-oriented, organized team player

  • Strong negotiation skills, with ability follow-through on client contracts

  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple accounts.
